The Slades

We photographed Ben and Liz, and their twin boys Turner and Taylor last weekend at Liz’s parents house on Water Street in Chalreston.  The boys were such troopers, and stayed in good spirits for the entire hour and a half session (and so did the parents!).  In between the portrait shots were some wonderful little moments.  Those quiet kisses by the window are what we love the most.

GRRRROWL!

We had a blast this weekend at the Panthers game watching our favorite team dismantle the Broncos. It was great to see all the old game day crew from Charlotte, and the rain held off until the moment we got back to the car.

drive-by

sometimes it’s nice to be able to ride shotgun instead of having to drive because you get to just stare out the window. here are two things that made my eyes happy in the car last week, a factory in georgetown, and the cooper river bridge.

EAW 3

One of the most wonderful aspects of being a photographer is the element of surprise…No day is the same and no plan etched in stone. On my final shooting day I was supposed to photograph some children playing in a local soccer game. Times were changed, along with plans and instead I had the chance to photograph 3 children in their beautiful backyard. Thanks to lighting gurus Robert Caplin and Chad Batka’s help I came away with a couple of nice lit portraits and some fun moments from the yard.
