Before leaving the newspaper, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reporter Michelle Parks and I spent 9 months working on a story about the Sirratt family and their pregnancy, and the work of midwives Maria Chowdhury and Jennifer Creel in Fayetteville. The first half of the story was published today!
