I received my copy of the Mountain Workshops 2007 book in the mail yesterday, and found that 3 of my photographs made it in. The workshop is held annually in a new location, always a small town in the state of Kentucky. The year I attended, it was in Danville, but my story was about the small town of Perryville down the road that was home to a major Civil War battle in 1862. It was a wonderful experience to work with so many talented photographers, and especially my shooting coach, Jonathan Newton, of The Washington Post.
