I have the pleasure of photographing the Third Annual Charleston Magazine’s Charleston Fashion Week. The show starts next Tuesday, and I am so excited to kick off the week photographing Emerging Designer competition semifinalist Emily Bargeron’s show. Mamie Ruth Design’s spring 2009 collection, Patchwork and Posies, combines vintage fabrics with modern design trends uniting her love for fashion with her love for the environment.
Throughout the rest of the week around 100 designers will present their lines, and a portion of the proceeds from the events will benefit the Charleston chapter of Dress for Success and Medical University of South Carolina’s (MUSC) Children Hospital. So, come out to Marion Square in downtown next week to see some fashion and support some great causes.

We had a blast hanging out with the Charleston Kids with Cameras group this past weekend! Our focus for the day was architecture, which is both stunning and abundant in downtown Charleston. We were mentoring the girls group with our good friend Melissa Haneline from the Post and Courier. Anistaja, Angelina, and Andell shot some gorgeous photographs, and we all learned more about the beautiful buildings in our fair city.
