Had a chance to slip off to the aquarium here in Charleston, here are some fish from the trip. I LOVE watching fish swim, completely mesmerizing…

When hair stylist Nicole Geary and make-up artist Lisa Burson asked us if we would be interested in helping them bring their crazy idea to life in a photograph, we of course said Yes! Thanks to our friend Tracey Pickard, we had a location and were ready to roll. The shooting time was limited with the storm rolling in, but it worked out great with the dark clouds and moody atmosphere.

We introduced Melissa + Graham in Part 1, check it out if you missed it. It is always a bit stressful photographing a wedding…especially when the bride and groom are dear friends, and even more so when they are both such talented photographers! Melissa + Graham’s wedding ceremony took place at Salisbury Station, a gorgeous old train depot that was built in 1908. It was beautiful, and the reception was nothing short of entertaining! Hope you two enjoy being able to share the rest of your lives with one another as much as Dan and I have so far…best wishes to you and your new adventures in Greensboro.
Much Love,
A&D

Our dear friends Melissa and Graham met each other while we were in photo school. They stayed close friends throughout the years after we all graduated and moved away to start life in the “real world.” Fast forward 3 years to December of 2008…a bunch of us photo school friends got together for a little reunion in Greensboro. It was a great night filled with lots of laughter, geeky camera talk, a FANTASTIC accordion, dancing in the street, and love. So I do believe that very night led to Lisser and G-raham becoming all silly, goofy, and madly in love with one another (or at least finally admitting it;)). It didn’t take G-raham long to pop the big question, which led us all back together again last weekend in Salisbury, North Carolina to celebrate the start of their wonderful new adventure together. The wedding photos are on their way, but for now a brief glimpse at that special night in Greensboro…

We traveled up to Columbia this past weekend for Meghan and Trevor’s wedding. We met Meghan and Trevor just after we moved to Charleston through our friends Kendrick and David. Kendrick has been best friends with Meghan for many years, and even though she and David shoot weddings themselves Kendrick had some other duties to fulfill as a bridesmaid;) We were honored to be able to document their wedding, and what a spectacular day it was! The ceremony at Shandon Presbyterian Church was gorgeous, and once the sun went down the dancing was non-stop at the Seibels House & Gardens. It’s easy to see how much they love one another, and we wish them both many new adventures filled with lots of revelry:)
