Creative Director, Jacqueline Lawrence, of InventivEnvironments invited us to come out to the Charleston Young Professionals Summer Soiree, and what a treat! The Black Tie, Blue Jean Event was at the Francis Marion Hotel in the Carolina Ballroom which always makes for a great atmosphere. Jacqueline’s decor was amazing as usual, and the food was delicious! PDA lit the room up with their stylish and innovative lighting techniques, and DJ Doug Party All The Time got us out on the dance floor to boogie;). Here are a couple of frames we snapped while enjoying our night on the town, and can’t we wait for the next event!

We had a great time at the Studio 101 workshop this past Saturday at the Charleston Center for Photography. I had some really talented students, and I think they learned a lot about using the light to their advantage and achieving some new looks with their work. Friday we had a lovely evening starting off at the American Theater to grab a quick photo for a client, and then playing a bit before we left;). We then headed down to Bin 152 for some great wine and French cheese…yum. After that we walked across the street to Imaging Arts to see the art show, “What is Charleston to you?.” Dan’s work looked great, along with all the other participating photographers. If you didn’t get a chance to see it Friday, the gallery will have the collection up for the next month so head on over to check out the photographs.

The Fitzgerald family came down south to the beach for their family vacation this summer, and decided it was a perfect time for some photos. We had a great time photographing them on Folly Beach, and it was nice being able to see some of our old friends from Ar-Kansas;)
