Lauren + Carter got married and had their reception at The Creek Club at I’on in Mt. Pleasant, and the day was simply divine. I knew upon meeting Lauren that her wedding would be fun and carefree. Lauren + Carter are a perfect match, and I know that they are going to keep each other entertained for years to come. I’m curious to see how many more states they can add to their list;). Wishing them both lots of laughter and love on their new adventure together!

Amber + Caleb are some of the happiest people we have ever met! They are constantly smiling, and I don’t think they could be more in love. They are high school sweethearts and getting married this fall in Charleston after graduating from Winthrop University. They are dog lovers, as we are, and brought their cute pups Duke and Dank with them for part of the shoot:) They were great sports as we dragged them around downtown Charleston after playing around on Folly Beach, and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September!

The Lowcountry Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® held their Survivors Celebration March 7th at the Embassy Suites in North Charleston. This was our second year photographing the event, and it is always such an honor to be a part of it. The guest speaker was SC Poet Laureate, Marjorie Wentworth. She read some of her beautiful poetry and signed the books each of the survivors received. There was tea and tasty treats, Bonnie Hancock was honored with the 2010 Charlene Daughtrey Award, and the celebration culminated with the beautiful candle lighting ceremony. Monica Campbell and Adolphus Belk, Jr. had a gorgeous ceremony this past Saturday at the Woodlands Inn in Summerville SC. After meeting them for the first time and hearing Adolphus quote “The Simpsons”, I knew they were going to be a ton of fun! They are so happy together, and watching them interact fills you with joy. After the beautiful ceremony on the croquet lawn, everyone moved over to the Pavilion where the party began. A friend from college came out to DJ, and the dance floor was packed all night! I wish Monica and Adolphus lots of laughter as they start their new journey together!
